Ladder 8-ft.
Paint tray
brush 2-inch

Dr. Jeorge Valvus called me from an advertisement from a Bing advertisement campaign. He was related to the late Dr. Valvus who invented the valve. Dr. Valvus home is under 30 year but he had not kept on the maintenance for his home. Today job was to re-paint his decorative cement balcony.

This post shows the eight steps to paint this decorative cement balcony repair.

Step 1: Fig.1 shows to look at the entire balcony and that the ladder is near a part of the balcony that had huge patches of loose paint.

Step 3: Fig.3 shows the balcony with most of the paint removed. Use the shop vacuum to pick up all the small pieces of paint. Its important because these could get into the primer and mess up the job.

Step 4:
Fig.4 shows the application of BEHR® Concrete Masonry Bonding Primer with a 2-inch brush. The paint was purchased at The Home Depot. Make sure that your paint tray, brush and roller is in a good location and handy as you need it for this job. This job has a lot of curving cement and the brushes and roller will be needed to get the job done.
Use a good quality brush to paint the primer over the cement

Step 5: After the primer was dried, the final coat of BEHR® Premium Plus Ultra Ultra Pure White Semi-Gloss paint was applied. Fig.5 shows the top of the balcony being painted with a 2-inch Wooster® Shortcut Angle Sash Brush. BEHR® paint and Wooster paint brushes can be purchased at The Home Depot.
