How to Paint Garage Window Inserts - Part 1 of 4 - Remove Plastic Inserts

Mr. Emmet lives in Lucerne Valley, California. He wanted to paint his new garage door inserts he had just purchased on craiglist.com. He purchase an emulsion paint for his new window inserts.


This post shows the seven steps to estimate the garage door window inserts.

Step 1: Fig.1 shows the first garage door window insert.

Step 2: Fig.2 shows pulling it from the bottom side releases the insert lip.
Fig.2 Pull out inserts
Step 3: Fig.3 shows the first two insert have been removed.
Fig.3 Inserts gone
Step 4: Fig.4 shows the door is at the middle and the insert is being removed from the bottom.

  Step 5: Fig.5 and fig.6 shows that next the insert is removed from the top and then it slides right off.

Step 6: Fig.7 shows the last two insert are being removed. This one is almost off.

Step 7: Fig.8 shows the last insert was more difficult to remove.
