How to Clean Hunter® Fan Blades

Supplies and Tools:
Clean rag
Windex cleaner
Hunter removable fan blades

Mrs. Hempleman found my advertisement in the PennySaver USA for a handyman. She needed her fan tuned up since it wobble and she also wanted the fan blades cleaned.

This post shows the eight steps to remove the fan blades for cleaning and tuning. 

Step 1: Above Fig.1 and below fig.2 shows this Hunter® Fan with removable blades for easy cleaning. Spring time is the best time to clean all the fan and remove cobwebs from the ceiling.

Step 2: Fig.3 shows the fan blade lock is click upwards allowing the blade to be turned and removed from the ceiling fan.

Step 3: Fig.4 shows metal lock that hold the blade.

Step 4: Fig.5 shows blade is released and in the same position so the blade can be removed from the ceiling fan.

Step 5: Fig.6 shows the blade has been completely been removed from its slot.

Step 6: Fig.7 shows the removed blades ready to be cleaned.

Step 7: Fig.8 shows all the blades now cleaned and ready to be put back on  to the ceiling fan.

Step 8: Fig.9 shows the finished product. The fan blades are now clean and will not spread dust throughout the room.
